Sub-Zero is a main character in the Warner Bros. fighting game series, Mortal Kombat. He appeared in the fourth episode of Battle Royale, where he was put up against Kula Diamond from The King of Fighters series.
History[]
Born with the ability to generate ice, Kuai Liang and his older brother Bi-Han were both trained from childhood as assassins for the Lin Kuei clan, with Bi-Han taking the name "Sub-Zero" and competing in the Mortal Kombat tournament in order to protect Earth from the villainous Outworld empire. However, one of the tournament's other participants was the fiery ninja known as Scorpion, who believed that Bi-Han killed his entire clan. Scorpion brutally killed Bi-Han, causing Kuai Liang to seek revenge. He took the name "Sub-Zero" and entered another Mortal Kombat tournament, intent on finding Scorpion and avenging his older brother.
